KUALA LUMPUR: Lenovo has opened its first Think Exclusive Store in Berjaya Times Square that caters specifically to small and medium businesses.
The store specialises in the company's Think range of notebook and desktop computers that will meet the requirement of businesses, said Sunny Ooi, Lenovo country manager for home and small business.
In conjunction with the opening of the store, Lenovo also announced that all purchases of the ThinkPad Edge 14in will get an automatic upgrade from the standard 1-year carry-in warranty to 18-months on-site warranty. The promotion lasts until the end of the year.
During the event, Lenovo also gave a sneak peak of its upcoming ThinkPad Edge 11in notebook which will run on Windows 7 Home Premium, and have an Intel Core i3-380UM (1.33GHz) processor, 2GB RAM and 320GB hard disk.
The notebook, which is expected to be available next month, will retail for RM2,099. - SUBASHINI SELVARATNAM
